Ferris Bueller's Day Off

As you know, every Sunday I watch an 80's movie. This Sunday I watched the classic, Ferris Bueller's Day Off. The film was made in 1986 and was directed and written by John Hughes. This movie is considered to be a comedy/drama. The stars of this movie are Matthew Broderick, Alan Ruck, and Mia Sara.

The film is about a boy who knows all the tricks to skipping out on a high school day. He is determined to have a day off with his girlfriend and his best friend, despite what the principal thinks of that. Ferris Bueller (Broderick) is a kid who would do anything to get out of school. His best friend, Cameron (Ruck), and his girlfriend, Sloane (Sara), are out to join him. Ferris persuades Cameron into borrowing his fathers Ferrari, and then hatch a plan to get Sloane out of class. The plan is that Ferris will pretend to be Sloane's dad on the phone and then dresses to go pick her up. Ed Rooney, the principal, knows all about Ferris and his devilish ways, but can never catch him. Ferris' sister is frustrated that Ferris can get away with everything and she doesn't. Ferris is an angel according to his parents. His sister is determined to get Ferris caught once. Does Ferris get caught? I don't know, you will have to watch the movie and find out.

My favorite part of this movie is at the beginning when the teacher, Ben Stein, is taking role and he gets to Ferris and repeats his last name over and over. It is so funny because of his facial expression. I recommend this movie to anyone who loves a great 80's flick.
